The BonderScore metric

The BonderScore is a powerful yet simple metric (0-100) designed to unlock your team's full potential by measuring both its performance and innovation capabilities. To generate the score, each member completes a brief, confidential assessment, providing their unique perspective on the team's effectiveness based on these key dimensions:

  • Clarity of purpose & alignment
  • Psychological safety & dependability
  • Collaborative inquiry & continuous improvement
  • Meaning & impact
Respondents use the Likert scale - rating scale commonly used in surveys to measure attitudes, opinions, or perceptions by allowing respondents to indicate their level of agreement or disagreement with a series of statements. Bonderscore's scale is displayed below:

Absolute and relative BonderScore

There are different ways to analyze and compare your team's BonderScore:

  • Absolute BonderScore uses your team's score as a marker of 'good' against scores from all types of teams in all industries.
  • Relative BonderScore looks at your team's score as a comparison marker, against other team's in with similar objectives of companies within your industry.
  • Progressive BonderScore follows your team's score across time.
The most important metric to follow is how your team's progressive score, and how your team is working on improving collaboration & dynamics.

A BonderScore above 65 indicates a healthy team. There are cases when specific dimensions can really affect the score and working on these allows for great progress in a very short period.

However, different teams and companies may present slightly diffent scores that can be assessed relatively.

Team size & response rates

Teams have different sizes, and BonderScore allows for assessments of 1 or more members. Different companies have different intepretations on what a team is, ideally teams are groups between 4 and 20 members.

To be able to successfully get a 360° assessment of your team you should aim for a 100% response rate. Our platform will not individually identify team members who responded, but please make sure to communite to all team members the importance of responding to the assessment.

BonderScore has a strong privacy focus and only presents results for assessments with at least 1 respondents.

New or leaving team members

Teams naturally evolve as members join or leave. To ensure accuracy, please update the team roster by adding or removing members as needed. The BonderScore will reflect the contributions of active team members and will highlight any changes in measurements resulting from team updates.

Automatic monthly assessments

BonderScore will automatically send a monthly assessment to your team for continuous measurement. Being able to see changes in the team and act accordingly is the key for continuous progress.
